🌸 Petals of the Oracle and Sacred Tides 🌿

A memoir that drifts between shadow and starlight, where trauma is transformed into tenderness,
and survival becomes euphoria.
Petals of the Oracle and Sacred Tides
isn’t a perfect story, it’s a quiet remembering.
A return to the places that shaped me,
and the truths I’m finally ready to hold.

About the Book 📖

Petals of the Oracle and Sacred Tides
is a memoir that drifts between memory and intuition, weaving stories of ancestry, heartbreak, healing, and quiet resistance.
Told through soft recollections and sacred symbolism, this book holds space for grief, identity, and the kind of clarity that only comes after surviving what was never meant to be carried.Written in fragments, petals, and pauses; this is a story for anyone who has felt too much, said too little, and still kept going.

Author Bio 🌺 🌊

Lei Brittney is a writer, dreamer,
and observer of what lives beneath the surface. Born in San Francisco and raised in Kyoto, she’s lived between languages, cities, and selves finding pieces of home in
Kyoto, Paris, Tokyo, and places in between.
Her work explores generational trauma,
emotional exile, identity, abandonment, longing, and the subtle rituals of survival.
In Petals of the Oracle and Sacred Tides,
she opens the door to what was hidden;
family secrets, complicated love, inherited silence, and offers it back with tenderness.
This book is not a conclusion,
but a soft beginning.
A remembering.

Petals of the Oracle and Sacred Tides

Excerpt ✍️

A maze is designed to get you lost.
But a labyrinth has one path.
It leads you in… and then it brings you back out again.
Maybe it was never a maze.
Maybe it was always a labyrinth
meant to be walked, not solved.
Not outsmarted, but felt.
Survived. Trusted.
And Dionysus…
he was never the destination.
Not the reward waiting at the center.
He was the one who cracked the gate open.
The one who, without even realizing it,
gave me permission to walk forward.
That night,
I wasn’t walking any path.
I was falling through it.
